With over a decade of personal experience, The Counter Rhythm Group's employees know what it takes to get to the next level in the music industry. Whether you're a local band trying to grow in your own region, or a regional act trying to break into the national circuit, we're sure there's something we can do to help. Custom packages for each campaign allow the opportunity for development in variety of focused areas, helping artists progress in the modern music industry. We're in this for you– trust us, we've been there.

The main element of any successful event, whether it is a rock n' roll show or a large corporate event, is getting the word out to your key demographic. Any one can promote, but why wouldn't you want to ensure that the work has been done to find and captivate your target audience? That's where The Counter Rhythm Group comes in– we do crazy amounts of research and marketing to find the folks that you should be reaching out to. We get them involved, we get them excited, and we get them ready for you to do your thing. We're good…at least that's what our clients tell us.

Targeting radio in your focus markets, whether it is your own or areas you're about to hit, can be a highly effective way of reaching out to a large demographic. We'll hit all necessary CMJ, AAA and specialty formats and shows based on what best fits your needs.
From establishing aggressive social networking strategies to physically making your album available in record stores and online, The Counter Rhythm Group will set out a marketing plan that targets and captivates your key demographic audience.
In a world where everything seems to be just a click away, it is still extremely important for the artist to realize every way of spreading their music to the masses. While electronic formats like blogs and social networks are still at the forefront of our strategies, we at The Counter Rhythm Group still believe in the print– from college publications to weekly alternative print newspapers, we'll get the word out in every way possible.
While touring is still an essential part of getting your name out, there is certainly a smart way of doing it. The Counter Rhythm Group takes a firm stance on market development for our artists– why put so much energy into a market if you are not seeing any results? We'll help build a strategy that best fits you're schedule, while still bringing results to the table– for everyone from the full-time touring artist to the weekend warrior.
The Counter Rhythm Group focuses on the individual artist as opposed to running you through the standard assembly line practices. Everything from helping your band create those necessary internal documents and record keeping to establishing our custom "
Band Plans," we'll help you not only figure out your next move, but also the most efficient way to make it.
Experience. No matter what industry you're a part of; experience is the key to finding success. This is one of the many mantras that we follow over here at The Counter Rhythm Group. We actually based most of our business model on experience, so you know we're serious about it.
See the rest of our story.
We all know that the music industry is fickle. We know that the corporate cookie-cutters are out to find the best trend possible to generate numbers, never considering the benefit of the artist. But what you may not know is amidst all the turmoil that makes the heads of the industry spin so fast, is that it really isn't that hard to find success. It just takes smaller logical steps, combined with great networking and hard work to progress. The path is not hard to follow, but apparently is hard to find, and we think we've found it. You know how– because we have experience!
We've been there before! We've been in the late night meetings after band practice; we've been at the shows counting heads until the minute before you play; we've been gone on tour only to play in front of the other bands. Let us take the experience we've collected, the research we've done, the models that we've built, and help you find your way in this fickle industry. There is a way to move in the right direction, you just need the experience and the work ethic to get it done. And guess what– we've got plenty of both.

The Counter Rhythm Group is Brian's brainchild, in essence, a reflection of his personality.
